How to find out who is calling you!

I am not talking about normal circumstances. I am talking about those numbers that show up with a "0" as the first number of the area code. You know, the one that make you say "Who is calling me"!

I have come across several websites where there are people who are tired of these fake phone numbers on their caller id. They have banned together to let everyone know who is calling them and why. Some of these sites have 800 numbers, as well as regular phone numbers that may show up without any information other than the number, and that you can not get any results from in a phone book listing.

People have started answering the calls to find out who it is and they report it on these sites, so that others know who is calling them.

Most of these companies are scams, bill collectors, charities and the like. There are also those that just hang up when you answer or will not leave a message.

You simply do a search in the search box for the number that has been calling you. If someone else has had a problem with the number that you are searching for, there should be a result and possibly the name of who is calling. If there is not a result for the number that you are searching for, go ahead and enter it with as much information as you have.Others will find it when they do a search and they may be able to tell you who is calling you.

Some of these sites have a lot of other information and some have very little information except for the search box. I have decided to just give you the ones that I have found that I think may help you find out who is calling you.

What Cheating does to you

Often, a woman's life is wrapped around the man she loves. She cooks for him, she cleans for him, she is there at his beckoning call, doing all the things that a woman does for her man.

Then comes the time when you find out that he is cheating on you!

You start to look at yourself differently and wonder what is wrong with you. Your self esteem flies right out the door with his sorry butt.

You begin to question and degrade yourself.

Why not me?
Why her?
What did I do wrong?
What can I do to fix it?
I am ugly!
I am fat!
I'm not good enough in bed!

I will be providing an answer to the above in a moment, but right now you need to STOP!

First and foremost, it is not your fault, it's "HIS" fault. He is weak and you are strong. He gave in to the temptation that most men experience at least once in their lifetime, yet only the weak ones give in to.

He is a weak man that you, in fact, did love. Time to close the door on that love, honey. He doesn't deserve your love. You don't deserve to be cheated on and lied to.

The answers;

Because you deserve better!
Because "that's all he can get"!
Nothing, he wanted to have his cake and eat it too!
Don't try, He is NOT worth it!
No you aren't, but he wants you to think you are!
He just wants you to think that you can't get anyone else.

His Excuses for Cheating

Let me see if I can get a few of these down for you.

Your version: You have something to discuss with him daily when he gets home from work and you do.

His Version: I am tired of hearing you gripe everyday.

Summary: He doesn't care what you have to say about anything and doesn't want to hear it so he'll call it griping when, in fact, you are just trying to have a conversation with him.

Your Version: You stay home and don't work because that is what he wants. You stay home to clean, cook, mow the grass, take out the trash and everything else that needs to be done. You even become quite handy at household repairs that he would have normally had to do. When he gets home, his only conversation with you is, "What's for dinner and when will it be ready"?

His Version: Her fat, lazy butt just sits around all day watching tv. She won't even get a job.

Summary: He has told you to stay at home and take care of the house and his needs so he has had to come up with "good" reasons (in his own mind) to justify what he has done. There is no justification!

This is how he brings you down and makes you lose your self esteem. I am sure that you can do this kind of comparison yourself with the things that he has said to you and you will see that he is full of it!

A life with someone you can never trust again does not sound like happily ever after to me! It sounds like another way for him to remove any self esteem that you have left as well as making you paranoid and miserable "FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE".

You will always have what happened in the back of your mind, no matter how hard you try not to.

Your Excuses Not to Move On

You probably have many excuses as to why you can not move on. Let me see if I can correctly put some of them down here.

I'm too old to find someone else (Nonsense, my grandfather found someone else in his 60's, as well as a few other people I know)
We have so many years invested in our marriage (No you invested years, not him)
I love him (He doesn't love you and love is a two way street)
I miss him (You miss the person you thought he was. He has shown you who he really is. Do you love that person? NO!)
We had so many good times (They were a lie! He did those things so that you would not suspect he was cheating!)

Let's get real here, stop making excuses and move on with your life because "HE" has! Don't give him the satisfaction of wasting the rest of your life waiting for "HIM" to realize "HE" loves you. He would love it, but you would be a sad and lonely person. Also, a person knows when they are in love and they don't have to "realize" it.

Moving on after he cheats

Time to pick yourself up and brush "HIM" off! No more time should be wasted feeling bad because of "HIM". As long as you sit around moping and feeling sorry for yourself, you are still letting "HIM" control your life even though he is no longer a part of it.

DO NOT let "HIM" control your life any longer!

Get rid of "HIS" things that he left behind to torment you. Give them away, throw them away, but get rid of them now. Do not call him to see if he wants them because if he did, he would have taken these things with him. Anything that you must keep, put in a box and store it in the attic or basement. Give important things to your children, if they are grown or put them in a box too. Your home is your space now and you need to make it yours. You do not need reminders of him anywhere! No pictures left out of him either! You do not need the reminder of "HIM". Your home is no longer a storage facility for "HIS" stuff.
Get a new hairstyle or color.
Buy yourself something for a change, like a new outfit.
Get out of the house!
Join a club or take a college course about anything you are interested in. There are many fun things to do and learn. Colleges now offer many one day classes teaching you how to do many things.
Go out with your friends. Whether it is shopping, to the movies or to a club/bar.
Make new friends.
Join a gym - Working out relieves a lot of frustration!
Socialize!
Do something you always wanted to do. There is no one to stop you now!
Socialize!
Find a support group - there are so many of them now, there must be one for you.

The more people that you surround yourself with, the better! Soon "What's his name" will be what he should be, a memory! The key is to keep yourself busy.

Although I know that you do not want to hear this, someone who will treat you right will come along when you least expect it.

It is really true, as I can remember a time when people told me that and I said "Yeah Right". Well they were right and so am I when I tell you that it "WILL" happen! You will not be alone forever and you will grow as a person, your own person.

This is for and about the womans side of moving on after being cheated on and is not meant in a bad way towards men. In fact, this advice may be true when the woman is the cheater, but being a woman myself, it would be hard for me to write this from a mans point of view.

First aid kits are a necessity!

Everyone should have a first aid kit at home and in each of their vehicles. You never know when an emergency situation will present itself, especially if you have children. As all parents know, a simple cut can turn in to what feels like an emergency if you do not have something with you to make it "all better".

Some other times that you may not think about taking a first kit along with you may be hiking, cycling, vacation and many others. You should always be prepared and have a first aid kit nearby. It is highly recommended that everyone take a first aid/CPR class.

Some people may choose to make their own first aid kits and others may elect to purchase one. In both cases, you should make sure that you have everything that you need. (see "what you need in a first aid kit" below)

What you need in first aid kits

Amazingly enough, not everyone knows what they should have in their first aid kit. According to the 1Red Cross, these are the items that you should include in your first aid kit if you are making your own:

1. 2 absorbent compress dressings (5 x 9 inches)
2. 25 adhesive bandages (assorted sizes)
3. 1 adhesive cloth tape (10 yards x 1 inch)
4. 5 antibiotic ointment packets (approximately 1 gram)
5. 5 antiseptic wipe packets
6. 2 packets of aspirin (81 mg each)
7. 1 blanket (space blanket)
8. 1 breathing barrier (with one-way valve to give CPR)
9. 1 instant cold compress
10. 2 pair of nonlatex gloves (size: large)
11. 2 hydrocortisone ointment packets (approximately 1 gram each)
12. Scissors
13. 1 roller bandage (3 inches wide)
14. 1 roller bandage (4 inches wide)
15. 5 sterile gauze pads (3 x 3 inches)
16. 5 sterile gauze pads (4 x 4 inches)
17. Oral thermometer (non-mercury/nonglass)

Additional Items to Consider for your First Aid Kits

There are other items that you may want to consider, depending on how the first aid kit that you are making is going to be used. Consider the items below to see if there is something that you may need.

1. Flashlight and batteries - make sure to check your batteries every once in a while to see if they need to be replaced
2. Safety Pins - to fasten bandages
3. Calamine Lotion
4. Peroxide
5. Rubbing Alcohol
6. Prescription Medication
7. Acetaminophen
8. Ibuprofen
9. Ipecac syrup and activated charcoal - For treatment after consuming certain poisons. (Use only on advice of a poison control center or the emergency department)

16. Anti diarrhea medication

26. Cotton balls and cotton-tipped swabs

28. Plastic bags for the disposal of contaminated materials

32. Cell phone and recharger that utilizes the accessory plug in your car dash
33. Sunscreen
34. Tube of petroleum jelly or other lubricant

37. Tampons - Useful for blood flow from puncture wounds and if cut in half are very effective for relieving nosebleed
38. Knife
39. Moleskin - To apply to blisters or hot spots
40. Phone card
41. A roll of quarters for each person (if on a trip) in case you need to use pay phones or vending machines.
42. A picture of each person (if on a trip) in case anyone should get lost.

What to do in the event of an emergency

* Stay calm and try to calm the victim.
* Shout for help and tell a specific person to call 911 or call yourself if no one else is there
* Evaluate the victim's condition and administer first aid or CPR as needed. (Only do this if you have been trained to). Continue treatment until the EMS gets there.
* Look for a medical alert bracelet or necklace (be sure to check their keyring too)
* Do not move the victim unless they are in immediate danger if you do not move them.
* Stay with the victim.
* Never risk personal safety in a rescue.

When you call 911, be sure to tell the dispatcher the following information and stay on the phone until the dispatcher says to hang up.

* The location and directions to you and your emergency.
* The type of emergency.
* The number of victims.
* The phone number at your location.
* What, if any treatment has been given to the victim(s).

While there is no list that can prepare you for every emergency situation, I hope that these lists have provided you with a clearer understanding what you need in first aid kits and what you should do if you have an emergency.

So many people are offering you a small piece of advice for free and then, WHAM! When you click on a link, you can get the "scoop" for a price. Whether it is $1.00 or $50.00, it's too much. All of this information is readily available on the internet should you choose to find and utilize it. I have taken the liberty of doing the research for you so that you do not get taken in by the ones that charge a fee to give you credit repair information.

The first link that you get here is Credit Repair Forms including dispute letters. It gives you all of the letters that you need to use for FREE. Yes, free of charge!

You will need this information you get to step #4 of the process.

To be quite frank, I found all of this information in one website. While the website is very good, there are paid things there too and I did not want you to get lost in the maze of links. I wanted to give you straight forward information that is free. I can not put all of the information that these links provide in to one hub or you, the reader will surely be bored. This way you can do each step one at a time with no confusion.

If you take the time to do this, you will learn how to dispute your credit report on your own and be your own credit repair guide.

A Warning - Never pay anyone to repair your credit. Most companies like that are charging you to tell you to file for a new social security number (which is not legal) or something of the sort. While there may be legitimate companies out there, you can do it yourself.

Step #1 to Credit Repair

Get your credit report once a year for FREE! All credit bureaus are required to give you your credit report free, but only once a year. Your credit score, on the other hand may cost a small fee. The above site will show you the steps to get your free credit report.

You can also get your credit report from the FDIC once a year.

Step #2 to Credit Repair

Analyze your credit report This Link shows you how to analyze the credit report and see what may be damaging your credit.

Step #3 to Credit Repair

Make a list of all items that you feel are negative or questionable. Identify each thing in your credit report that you want to dispute and explain why you dispute it.

Step #4 to Credit Repair

Write dispute letters to the credit bureaus that you need to. See I told you that you would need the link at the beginning for the forms.

Step #5 to Credit Repair

Send the letter to the credit bureaus making sure that they are certified or registered and being sure to keep the original credit report that you received. Document everything that you do, receive, etc. Never use the online dispute forms that are on some credit bureau sites. You need to mail them as stated above to have the proof that you need.

Step #6 to Credit Repair

Document your efforts Keep track of when you send the letters and what happens. Write it down!

Step #8 to Credit Repair

Analyze the results.

Wait for the credit bureaus to investigate your dispute letters.

I learned how to find people and so can you

The question of how to find people is asked by many. I used to ask too and then I did my research. I can not guarantee that you will always find the people that you are looking for, but I can tell you that the resources that I am going to give you are absolutely free as I spent a lot of time finding them.

Now I have friends asking me all of the time "Can you teach me how to find people?" I don't mind and I usually tell them. If they are not having any luck, I give it a try, sometimes with success and sometimes without. Most people are looking for a lost love, friends or a family member.

Below you will find examples and resources that should help you learn how to find people for free on the internet. Be aware that some of the sites have several things that are free to do and several things that you have to pay for. Just skip the stuff that you have to pay for because you shouldn't need it. So many people charge you to be a "people finder" when most of the resources are free.

The how to find people resources

A great place to start is Zabasearch-Free People Finder. To find people, you just type in the person's name, select all 50 states and press search. If you know the state that they are in, then use the exact state. You will then see results for that persons name with addresses and phone numbers. Do not click on the additional options as they will be of no use to you unless you wish to pay.

I always try Anywho because, believe it or not, you can find about 50% of the people that you are trying to find there. The only information that you are required to put in is their last name. You can search by state or leave everything else blank except the last name.

If the person that you are looking for has a professional license, like doctor, notary or nurse. You may be able to find them at KnowX-Free People Finder. They have a spot for you to search for professionals, which also helps you to verify someones license. They have a search for you to locate a business and a person. The results will come up with address and phone number. Once again, there are links to click next to the results and they will cost money.

If the person that you are searching for is on the sex offender registry. You can go to the national sex offender registry and search by state. You can find it here. Remember that there are strict guidelines on how you may use information from the sites and each state will spell it out for you and let you know what you can or can not do with the information.

There is also ancestry.com which most people would not think would be useful, but it is. There is information on a persons last known address and phone number, but it is the one that is public record. I found this site useful in finding several people. The link that I provided is a 14 day trial that says it is for their census area, but you should be able to access other records. If you just go to their website and click free trial, it will want you to supply a credit card to continue after the trial.

Use search engines! Type their name in with "quotes" around it. This will give you more specific results. Remember to try shorter versions of their name like for Robert, try Rob or Bob. Try nicknames as well. Do they like to use certain kinds of names when they are online? Do the same kind of search for these names. If they have done anything online, you will be able to find them. Remember that different search engines come up with different results. Try them all.

Lastly, the following page has a list of public record sources for finding people that are free. It is called Free People Finder Index. Be sure to stick to the resources in the middle of the page as the rest of them will want you to pay for services. There are a lot of phone book directories there and remember that just because there is not a public listing in one, it doesn't mean that it won't be in the other. I have found people that weren't in one of them, but were in another.
